Capt. Jeff Belsik, a veteran Florida Keys flats fishing guide, licensed since 1993:
What you might want to bring along with you.
Good sight fishing requires attention to detail. Remember.....
Cover up! The sun on the flats of the Florida Keys can be very strong.
Sunscreen, I recommend at least spf 45 if you’re not from this area.
Polarized sunglasses, cap, pack a long-sleeve shirt and pants.
Pack a lunch and bring plenty of drinking water.
Skid resistant rubber soled shoes. It could rain, bring a slicker.
Camera so you can become part of the gallery.
Captain Jeff Belsik will bring the rest: bait, tackle, license and boat.
